I am 18 and I've been snowboarding for just a year and I want to know if it's to late to achieve my dream on becoming a professional snowboarder. The problem is I also live 45 minutes away from the nearest mountain and I have school until 3:00. Should I just give up or keep practicing. Please Help!!!!

  1. dude... 18 you have ages! my mates 30 and she just got sponsored i know a few other semi-pros that are just coming in to light and there like 26ish! im 24 and im hoping to get sponsored

do it for the love tho, not the money(cause really you dont get paid much... unless your shawn white)

  2. never EVER give up

  3. as long as you have two legs.

  4. Keep Practicing

  5. dont give it up youll find time to go theres weekends & night riding in mountain creek except its a small mountain...but your still rideing

  6. heck yes anything is possible!

the only thing/person who can stop you from pursuing your dream is yourself by saying you cant or that your too old.

go out and do it :) you can.  keeep practicing, get your friends to get footage of you boarding, enter competitions.  with those pieces of footage edit it into a movie less than 2 minutes and send it out to companys looking to be sponsored.  most of all... keep boarding, as much as you can

im 17, i havent been snowboarding for too long and im hoping to go pro.  im taking one year (next year 09/10) off of university to just board for a solid year to get better

    have confidence...

'those who say they cant are probaly right. But so are those who say they can!' - a poster in my grade 11 french classroom at school

    good luck :)

  7. dont give up. you can do it. jsut keep riding and filming and try to get a sponsor. once you are sponsored, its usually all uphill from ther unless you get paralized, which wont happen, so just ride, have fun, and you will go pro in no time
