Am I supposed to bring my parents to my High school Orientation?

  1. no do NOT!!!! i just had mine and luckily i didn't bring mine, no one did


  2. It depends if your a sophomore and buying a class ring that's 300 bucks you might need them to come. They may need to come to meet people or fill out papers  

  3. With my high school orientation parents definitely had to come. Everyone's parents came. I would just watch people entering the building to see if their parents are with them or have you parents walk with you to the door and stay if they see other parents.  

  4. I'm guessing that each high school is different. My hs orientations were only for students. Call up the school to find out for sure

  5. it couldnt hurt to bring them. if your parents have questions, or concerns about subjects then they should probably come. my parents attended mine last year however most of the kids also brought their parents and the parents sat in one set of bleachers the kids migrated away from them to the opposite side of the gym. its just a matter of whether or not your parents have some questions or problems with certain issues. there is absolutely nothing wrong with them being there either.
