FYI: Current high school senior (I'm so confused about financial aid right now).

I submitted my FAFSA application on March 2. I qualify but have not yet recieved a letter. I have been rewarded a Cal Grant (A/B).

  1. There will not be a letter from FAFSA. The only thing that they send you is your Student Aid Report. It is up to the school that you are applying for aid to send you an award letter. Call the school FA office and they can explain things a bit better. The school that I work for does not deal with that grant so I can't really tell you anything about it. I hope that helped a bit. Let me know if you have any other questions, I'll see if I can help.

  2. no, they dont send u a letter

i found out that i qualified for Pell Grant when the school that I applied to (and wrote in FAFSA) sent me a financial aid package.

and there it was, Pell Grant. I think I have about $2000
