Ever seen the McDonalds "active", "healthy" commercials? I find it really funny how a place that serves huge burgers and other heart attack related foods advertises iteslf as healthy. (also unfair) Well just want to see everyones opinion.

  1. Because they have "some" healthy items on the menu now. If you choose to eat the bad food..well that's on you. However , they have yogurt and fruit grilled chicken etc...

  2. You're so right that is HILARIOUS!!!

I haven't eaten McDonalds in years and those commercials aren't gonna make me start.

  3. I still have difficulty in believing those adverts. To me McDonalds is hamburgers and if I want a sandwich or salad I will go to a Sandwich bar.

McDonalds is hamburgers and no amount of advertising to the contary will convince me otherwise.

  4. Well lets see.... if you were the CEO of McDonalds and needed to sell more food....what would you do? Flaunt how fattening/unhealthy it is or focus on the healthy things? If people want to eat McDonalds everyday then that's their problem. McDonalds doesnt force people to eat their food. If a person exercises and otherwise eats healthy and occasionally goes to McDonalds, it's fine. I don't think it's a big deal, they just want people to look at them with a different perspective, as some of their foods, in moderation, can be healthy and conveniant as well as cheap.

  5. I wouldn't really saw that McDonald's serves "huge burgers".

Personally...I think there are much worse burger chains out there with big burgers that = big fat....

    Wendy's triple stacks

Wendy's double-baconator (2 big patties, 6 slices of bacon, 2 things of cheese, mayo, etc)

    Carls Jr/Hardees Six Dollar/Thickburgers

    etc

I guess when I think of McDonalds, I don't really think of over-indulging on the beef o' meter.

  6. Come try our greasy Big Tasty oh so healthy lol come on. It would be different if we didn't know what McDonald's was about but we do and its like there trying to deceive us lol " we know what they did last summer"

  7. I know im watching the news then mcdonalds pops up saying there healthy im all like WTF is this mcdonalds???

  8. What grates my onion is how they advertise that a chicken nugget happy meal with apples instead of fries and a white milk is healthy,   maybe i don't know what i'm talking about but if I did have kids they wouldn't eat a deepfried anything!

I too think it is hilarious that the health kick has kicked them.

I remember when they offered an adult happy meal, it was a big salad and a bottle of water. and you would get a pedometer or a work out dvd as a prize.

    strange but true.

  9. You're not the only one. Lol.

  10. Nope, you're not the only one who thinks it's funny.  Have you watched "Supersize Me"?  You gotta watch this if you haven't.  I'll never eat there again, nor will I take anybody from my family there.  Here's the link for the free movie:

  11. I remember When KFC was kentucky fried chicken and they were proud of it. But about 3 or 4 years ago during the adkins craze they started running commercials that were saying KFC chicken "can" be part of a heathy diet. Those were hilarious the FDA complained and they had to pull the commercials

  12. haha! no way you definitely ARE NOT alone. check out mcspotlight.com

it reveals everything about that place that sells heart attack on bread.

  13. It is funny. Maybe they think the trans fat free oil will change people's minds. lol

  14. no way! i am right with ya on that one!!!!

maybe they r making small strives to be healthier, but then they load it up with sugar and salt (they don't mention that part on the commercials) and help no one!!! :)

  15. you are right. they ARENT healthy. but its just to convenient.  where ever you go, theres a fricking mcdonalds.
