Am I the only Brit who doesn't like Andy Murray?

Question

I would love to see a Brit win Wimbledon but I just cannot take to this player! I have tried to find something likeable about him but I can't see anything. I don't even watch his matches anymore.

It looks like he may win Wimbledon one day so can anyone tell me something that will change my mind about him as I would like to get excited about the fact that he could be a future champion!

No - i am scottish and i hate his guts, arrogant t**t if you ask me.  But what does it matter who he supports in football??

I don't know why people get so upset about him, he is a tennis player, that's it. quite a good one admittedly. I think its because he said he hoped England would lose at the football and ever since then the attitude is that he is a dim Scot. But

as i said to someone earlier, i have watched him and think that he seems quite shy and nervous, especially after watching him on TV last night, twiddling hair, etc and that indicates someone who is not yet comfortable in the spotlight.  also so many supported Tim Henman and even he could be morose, that i think the odds are stacked against him.

I would not support him after he said he would not support England in the World Cup.

He will never win Wimbledon anyway - like Henman, he is too skinny.

I am a Scot who doesn't really take to him either but would love to see him or any of the other Brits win Wimbledon.

Andy Murray will not win Wimbledon because he doesn't have the mental strength. He is another Henman in the making.

at least he shows passion,which is more than Henman did..he has hallmark of a champion by his desire,attitude..

dont worry im sure pleanty of brits and people of other nationalities hate his guts...the only reason the people cheer for him is because most british really want a british winner at wimbledon, or any other slam...they cheer him cause he is their best hope...thats how desperate some people are...but i for one HATE his guts....he is soo arrogant cocky and ughhh soooo stubborn. i still cant believe he wrote a book...he hasnt even accomplished anything...i would soo think someone like henin, william sisters, federer, or nadal would write one cause look at what they have done for the sport? even graf didnt write a book and look at her...retired and has like 20+ slams...she really should write a book...but back to the topic yes i really hate him...im not british though lol

he will be another almost champion, over rated, when he wins he is a brit, when he loses he is a scot.

It used to be said that Nigel Mansell was boring, but at least he smiled. Has Murray been force fed too much cold porridge?

A good player, but if he ever wins "sports personality of the year" I will realise there is no longer any hope for the world.
