Am I the only one my age who has pubic hair?

I am almost 14 and I think it would just be kind of embarrassing to ask my friends that. No one ever talked to me about puberty so...yea.

  1. I shave mine. I'm your age. They get in my way all the time. Plus, I hate them. Everyone hates them.

  2. no, your not. i started getting pubic hair when i was thirteen, and i'm pretty sure that most guys and girls do around this age too. it's ok. and if you don't like it, shave it. (downwards, to avoid ingrown hairs)

Most guys your age have started growing pubes.  Your friends probably feel the same way as you do, curious but embarrassed.  If you're close, there's nothing wrong with discussing these changes with your friends.  I urge you to talk to your parents.  Friends are fun but don't always have accurate information.

  10. No, that guy and girl sitting in front and back of you -  they started getting some hairs around their armpits, genitial area around 11 years old.  You ARE NOT the only one.

No you are not there are a lot of questions about our bodies that are really embarrassing to ask but You are not alone in that either all of your piers in your age group all have the same questions . Never be scared to ask your Dr. that is what he or she is there for. Puberty is a tough time your body plays tricks on you .your voice is up , down all around at the most important moments and make you want to run and hide. Your body starts sprouting things, Girls, or guys that were gross not so long ago suddenly look very Interesting.  I like to think of it as natures big joke on us! but you will be fine , ALWAYS remember your never alone.

  20. no your not the only one because if you say ur turning 14 this means ur going into puberty but idk i hit puberty before like all my friends but im like 15 and i hit puberty at like early 13 so it was wird cause i asked my friends and they said no. but im also part greek and part portorican which makes me a really hairy guy.and that pisses the c**p out of me so i trim my pubes and im happy now.

  24. TOTALLY NORMAL. dont worry about it. a lot of growing young people get it younger than 14. they're too embarrassed to ask you about it too.

  28. At age 14 most guys have started growing pubic hair.  Sometimes, it may form at a later age, but that is rare.  In fact you may see pubic hairs on guys as young as 12.  Each person matures at a different rate.  So yes, your friends have hair down there also, unless they shave it off.
