decisions she's going to make for our country? At age 44, the risk is terribly high, and her child wound up having Downs. She already had 4 kids - seems stupid and selfish to me.

  1. Am I the only one who thinks IT'S NONE OF OUR ******* BUSINESS!!?

Issues, people.  Her reproductive choices are her own.  If only she would extend the same courtesy to the rest of us, she might have my support.

  2. It's her right, although I think it's morally wrong and selfish for anyone to have more than three kids regardless of how much they make.  At 44, she had a 1 in 5 chance of having a Down's child.

I knew a single woman who was carrying a child that would of been born without a brain and would of certainly died within hours of being born.  She was in NC had to go to another state to get a second trimester abortion.  Not only would Palin of made this illegal even in the first trimester, she would of done nothing to cover the medical costs or support the child if it could of survived.  She cut funding for a teen mom program in AK by 20%.   I hate when people say people use abortion as a form of birth control, like getting pregnant is fun.  I can't see how anyone would want to undergo such a proceedure if it could be avoided.

As for the angry woman about to be a mom, she knows she's having a healthy baby.  What would she of done if she found out the child was a Down's child or was going to be born without a brain?  80% of Down's pregnancies are terminated.

  3. That all depends on if you think people are just the result of a biological process, for anyone who thinks people exist not only in human body what you are saying shouldn't make much sense.

  4. First, we need some DNA tests done, because she's been creeping around Wasilia with her husband's business partner, allegedly. Palin has a baby daddy, lol~

  5. Palin was fortunate she can have a child at such a late age, soon menopause will be making the decision for her to not have children. So your saying that if your blessed with a child after forty you should Murder it. -- Thank you for the 2 points

Our last child was born when my wife was 43, we have 3 children and Jade (our youngest) is the smartest of all. She is only 2 years old knows her ABC's and can spell her name, knows her address and phone number. My oldest (11 year old) was barely even talking when he was 3. Not that he's bad, he's very independent, and confident, does a great job looking after his two sisters.. each child has there own attributes.  The blessings of life shouldn't be taken trivially.

I guess only liberal Mom's are working mothers, when it comes to conservatives the sames rules don't apply.

  6. Yes, it's just you and your myopic view of what women can and can't do.

  7. How dare you ask a question like that!  No body batted and eye when Halle Berry at 41 had her baby (her baby was born healthy by the way).  How about:   Brooke Shields at 37, Annette Bening at 41, Geena Davis at 46, Jane Seymour at 45, Beverly D’Angelo at 49, Marcia Cross at 44, Madonna at 42, Salma Hayek at 41, Nicole Kidman at 40...the list goes on and on.  No one seemed to bat an eye.  Sure the risk was there...but it was there for the countless others as well.  And if she can afford 5 children...what is the problem?  Stick with the real issues.

  8. It does play to her extremely poor judgement.

  9. Maybe it was an unplanned pregnancy.  Regardless, all children are a blessing.  I don't think she was wrong to have it or keep it.  It was her choice.

I only wish she was open-minded enough to allow other women to make their own choices.  But it's more of that do as I say not as I do.

  10. My wife was 44 when our youngest was born. No problem at all.

  11. That's kind of mean but my mom said that the other day. I mean at 44 years old any woman knows your baby could end up disabled...and most woman have their tubes tied at 44.

  12. what a witch

  13. palin is delusional. a child at 44??!! are yu serious? thats a messed up choice. tie them tubes tie them tubes tie them tubes

    november 08 Yes We Can!

  14. probably an "oops" baby, not a choice.  S*** happens...

  15. Women at her age have a greater chance of giving birth to children with disabilities.  That's why I didn't think the child was her daughters because it's not uncommon for women in their 40's to have down syndrome children.

  16. Most informed people know that there is a high risk of complications especially mental retardation.  Also, it is known that when the expectant mother is over 35 they require more rest the best nutrition and a low stress environment for the fetus to have the best chance for normal development and a easy successful birth.  However if you have never had any s*x education or family planning training you may not know these things and just leave it in the hands of God.
