  1. I'm sure you have plenty of company. This is one of the consequences of deciding to file for bankruptcy. Deal with it. It should be off your record in a couple of years.


  2. Wait until at least 2009.  As long as you maintained good credit habits since your bankruptcy filing, your credit score should increase if the bankruptcy filing drops from your credit report after 7 years.  Just be aware that it could stay there for 10 years which is permitted by law.

  3. Probably not.
