Am I the only one who does not belive in global warming?

people belive everything they see on tv.. wtf people.. before we all get all crazy on global warming take the time to listen to the other side of the story.... any time any1 tells you something ALWAYS take the time to listen to the other side.. :)

I hope that neither you nor that sorry bunch of nitwits who answered your question before me will ever vote.  What is true or false does not depend on what the likes of you "believe" in.  There is an objective reality out there, and an abundance of scientific data shows that global warming occurs, and most of it is due to human activities such as the emission of hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide into the atmosphere by the burning of fossil fuels.

There is little doubt that the climate of the earth is warmer now than it was a couple hundred years ago.  The current climate does not appear to be the warmest it has been since the end of the last glacial period; the climate in the late first millennium AD was apparently warmer than now.

I don't know of many people that have a reasonable understanding of climate change that doubt that the earth has been through a warming trend during the recent past.  the argument isn't so much about whether, as it is about why it has changed the way it has, and whether it is a "bad" thing, a thing we need to be concerned about.

Global warming is not proved at all. It is difficult to determine such a thing as this. Our planet has natural variations of temperature, and there is so much variation that someone could all too easily say it is warming, cooling or remaining stable, depending upon which axe he chooses to grind. This is like "Statistics". Samuel L. Clemens (Mark Twain) said, "There are three types of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics." I add that there are now 4 types of lies and add global warming as #4. If Al Gore endorses anything, I am automaticlly suspicious, after the many other lies he has told.

I believe the Earth is going through some kind of change right now. Whether or not it is global warming is a whole different matter. My only problem with this global warming theory is the people that teach it as fact when it is only a theory. But, I have no problem with people trying to better the environment now that they've heard the theory about global warming. Cleaner air & a cleaner Earth doesn't turn me off at all.

i don't believe in it either

years ago scientists proved that it was just the natural heating & cooling of the earth over billions of years. we're coming out of an ice age so that's why it's getting warmer.
