That the IRS decided to make you have to qualify by making enough money to get money? I think it should've been the OTHER WAY AROUND.. I THINK,... and this is what I'd do if I were making the rules,.. would make it where everyone who made less than $3,000 in a year got the $600, the ones who made $3,000 or more in a year but didn't make a whole lot either got the $300, and the ones who made a lot of money got very little, like between $100 to nearly nothing. The people who made more money didn't need the money as much as the people who made less money, so therefore the people who made less money should've gotten more, so I think the IRS's idea of only giving those the full amount who didn't really need it, I thought that was illogical.

Does the IRS see that they messed up based on this fact?

  1. I agree with your logic BUT the people who earned the money deserved to get it. Period. People who life welfare could just get a job to make around a grand and get the higher amount given to them if that was the case. I think it was done the correct way, however I knew then it wouldn't solve our problems and it was in no way "free" money.

  2. Under your economic stimulus plan I wouldve gotten 600 dollars instead of the 50 dollars that the President gave me.  My bank account was overdrawn for 5 dollars when I got it, then I bought myself a 12 pack of Natural Light for 6.99, and I spent the rest on gasoline.  Yes all very stimulating to the economy.

  3. you forget,

first as is always true, the rich get richer the poor get poorer

    Second its the government...not Mensa

third and most importantly, quit whining, if you have a computer to ask    these questions on and internet access you probably got part of the stimulus

its the way it is you arent going to change it by complaining
