Am I the only one who uses baby talk with pets?

Question

I constantly realize that I'm speaking baby talk to all my pets or other peoples pets. And when I'm with just them, I talk to them like there a person. Haha sounds crazy, just wondering if anyone else does this?

I'm guilty of doing it.

"You are such a cute Ferret.. oh yes you are!...my crazy little fuzz butt"

The only thing I don't do is pinch his cheeks.

me and my family we talk to all of our pets in baby talk so you are not the only one.

probably beacue you dont want to be looked at as crazy when pther people are there..its generally more normal to talk in a baby voice to a animal

and when u are alone you just talk normaly..almost like u are just talking to yourself

nope, i have a family member who talks to his dog as if she's his newborn

no, my mother talks to my guinea pig and i think it's cute

You aren't the only one. I do the same thing with all my animals and it just comes naturally for me.

are you kidding me? of course you're not the only person who  uses baby talk with pets. i just can't control myself from speaking in baby talk sometimes...

Record yourself doing it sometime. I'd do anything to spare someone this embarrassment, you really do look ridiculous doing it.
