I don't have a postcode, no-one in Ireland does except in Dublin they have two diget ones. When I am filling out my info to order something off the internet I have to make a postcode up! The stuff gets delivered ok. I don't have a house number either. Is that really weird?

My address goes like..

My Name,

My Street,

My Town,

My County.

I DO recieve all my post and everything, I'm just wondering is anywhere else like that.

  1. I live in Cork and when I need to write a postcode in an online form I usually just write '021', the area code for Cork. Works most of the time. If I'm not getting anything delivered to my house, I usually just fill in that I'm from the US and use a state postcode. Lol.

  2. the leprechaun did it :/

  3. Im from carlow, i just put 0000 for a postcode and it comes fine.

  4. Typical Irish ; ) I'm only messing. If you get all your post alright then I suppose it doesn't really matter. I used to live in Qatar where everyone had to have a PO Box address because there were no postcodes and no deliveries were made to houses...now I found that weird.

  5. You don't have too, you need to go to your local postal office or postal house and ask for one or call them

  6. I'm in the US and do have a postal zip code but not a house number, which creates havoc for on-line ordering. I'm also  in a very rural area where the postman actually knows who we are and where we are. In theory you have to have all the info for me to get mail but I've gotten things addressed to

    My name

    My town

Bottom line: Post men must have incredible memories! lol
