Question:

Am I the right weight??

I'm 5'2 and 85 lbs. a lot of people think I'm skinny but when i look in the mirror all i can think about is my huge thighs and my tummy sticking out. what do u think?

I think you are just right.  I just want to make you aware of two things.  One, women always have some sort of "gut".  It's fat to protect your uterus.  It will not go away.  You can do a thousand situps a day.  It will still be there. Even on models and Olympic swimmers, they still have a gut.  Two, a lot of women have inverted spines.  Their lower back curves in a bit more then nature intended.  Of course, if your lower spine is inverted, it may make your tummy stick out a bit more.  You are not fat, and there is nothing you can do about your tummy.  It's just the way it is.  As for your thighs?  Who knows.  Just appreciate the fact that you are not 300 pounds at 5' 2" and move on with your life.  


  2. Um, I defenately think you should gain weight. I don't know how old you are but according to your height you are VERY skinny. If you think you are fat in the mirror then maybe your not seeing yourself very good. Try taking a full body picture so you can see how you really look. Sometimes pictures may add weight depending on your stance so have a friend take it and ask them to make sure its really how you look. I mean its good to be naturally slim but just don't under eat because thats having an eating disorder and believe me, eventually someone will notice and send you straight into the hospital.

    Even if they don't, being bone skinny looks horrible. I've seen people with eating disorders and they look so bad because there lacking nutrition so they are so pale and they have major bags under there eyes and they look way to thin, like skeletons, its scary! It looks worst than being obeast. I'm not saying you do have an eating disorder because you may be naturally thin but if you lose about 5 more pounds then you'll defenately look like those eating disorder kids. So please don't restrict your eating in anyway, you'll still be skinny even if you gain weight. And I'm not saying this because I'm a fat person and I don't know what skinny is, I'm actually not fat at all. I only weigh 82lbs but I am only 4"10 in height and I'm 13 and people tell me I'm skinny. So if you weigh 85 lbs and are 5"2 then you are super skinny. Just don't think about your weight and try not to develop an eating disorder because that is like one of the worst things a person can go threw, you have no idea. Look it up and learn more about it to make sure you don't have one. No matter what be healthy and love your body!Good luck!=)

  3. youre actually a bit underweight. someone who is 5' 2" has a reccomended weight of 110lbs. you being 85lbs makes you underweight.

    and remember that youre your own harshest critic so give yourself a break. by the sound of it, you sound skinny.

    every1 sees themseleves as "fat"

    or maybe you do hav a little bit more fat in certain places but i think tht your a bit to skinny for tht age so dont worry about it
