Am I to old for horse lessons?

I am 23 years old I did horse lessons before and I won a ribbon back in 1998. my mom got me into another place for horse lessons this time Iam ready to jump and do more. is it too late...? I need some confidence.....

  2. NO YOU ARE NEVER TO OLD TO LEARN ! HORSES ARE THE BEST TEACHERS IN LIFE. REMEMBER THAT THE HORSE RESPONDS TO YOU! WHEN YOU ARE AFFRAID TO JUMP THE WILL NOT RISK YOUR LIFE BY TAKING THE JUMP ANYWAY.

    I AM 28 AND STARTED AGAIN WHEN I WAS 25! JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT YOUR PHYSIQUE IS CHANGED. YOU ARE OLDER NOW SO YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO DO THOSE HORSE TRICKS LIKE YOU USED TO.

  5. no it's deffinently NOT too late!! I knew a man who started riding when he was 50 and continued competing in three day eventing until he was 70 years old!

  6. No it's not too late. You can learn to ride a horse at any age. It's probably more a matter of how much you practice, and how well you get to know your horse, than age.

    Good posture and light hands are the most important skills to develop. The rest will follow naturally. Your horse can sense if you are scared or tense, so try to relax and have fun.

  7. it would seem common sense you're perfectly able to do it, it's not like you're 80 years old and need a soft chair mounted on the horse
