A few years ago, I attempted to ride the Ride of Steel Roller Coaster at Darien Lake. After struggling with the seat belt, the attendant tried to help me...it didnt work. I had to exit the ride. How embarassing, right? At the time, I was about 265lbs at 5'8. I have since lost about 40 lbs and am about to try the coaster again. At 5'8, 225lbs do you think I should be able to fasten the seat belt and ride the roller coaster?

  1. Ummm, you should be fine as long as there was a noticeable decrease in your weight.

  2. Ya, you should be fine, the worst that could happen is...

well you could fall off, but you wont, thats only happened once.

  3. yes you should be ok. and don't be embaressed i am 205 and struggle to get the seat belt on. just suck it in and get it on. my sister is 245 and she can do it. but before you go on you may want to try it on the sample seat out side of the line. if that will work than you should be good. have fun.
