Am I too old for pony tails?

Question

I am 35, but I look like I"m in my 20's. I want to do short little pony tails in the back. They would be very short..my hair is to my chin. Am I too old for this look? I am too lazy to do my hair sometimes and would love to do this but don't want to look like a dork.

No no no... go ahead... the pony tail is the thing to do... omg what would a woman do without it... 35yo is still young... as you get older like in the 40's you would not want the ponytail to be real long... short high up on the head... ponytails is like wearing your hair up in a bun almost... i also think short hair in 2 short stubby pigtails is a cute look... you see Paris Hilton in them when she doesn't have her extensions in.

Go for it!  Pony tails are the answer to bad hair days, dress up hair days, fun in the sun hair days --- you can't go wrong.  You will not look like a dork, try simple looks at first, then get a little more creative!

I don't think so at all. I think that look is best when done by slightly older women, mostly because they can afford the nice clothes and have the ease and self-confidence that make a short ponytail look sophisticated. I think it looks great, especially if you use a barrette to clip it back into a low ponytail. It somehow looks very chic and French to me. If anything, I think long ponytails are the "younger" look. I recently grew out my hair and I really enjoyed doing short ponytails. I know exactly what you mean... short hair is such a pain to style sometimes.
