Am I too old for the Air Force? ?

I'm turning 23 in November.

I was also wondering if its possible to take on-line classes during.

You're nowhere too old to join the Air Force.  You could probably be 30 and join the Air Force if you wanted to.  As for the online classes, yes, you can.  It might be a little hard, but you can do it.

My friend joined the Air Force right after high school and was surprised that many of the new recruits were a bit older, about your age.

It is very possible to take classes during but research where you are taking your classes to make sure they are flexible. Some online courses will require you to take a test in person for a final or something and you could have duty. So find out beforehand. My dad did some online classes while in the Navy. It can work.
