Am I too old to get into skimboard contests?

I love skimboarding, but I'm a 20 year old girl and I wonder if its too late to get into the contest scene. I would like to pick up a few sponsors (like small surf shops, etc, not big pro sponsors). I just want to get into the circuit, but I don't think I'll be ready to compete until Summer 09, and I'll be 21, is that too old?

its never to old to do something you love!!!!!

No your never too old to do something you want to do as long as you have fun doing it. Maybe when your hitting your seventy's you should slow down you could break your hip skimming. Have fun.
