I'm 14 going to be 15 in march, is that to old?

I've always wanted to learn to play.

I do have music backgroun if that helps. . .

I played the oboe for 4 years, and the piano for 2.

I had to quit both because of family problems.

Or I want to learn how to play the drums, but I think I would have more fun with the guitar.

  12. Are you kidding?

You are very young and you should definitely start playing guitar if you are interested.

Get yourself a nice acoustic that is easy to play and also get some lessons, or at least a good beginner lesson book.

It will be some work to pick up the technique, but the musical part shouldn't be as challenging because you have some background.
