I do fancy the idea of studying and then maybe work in the U.K., but now I realize that I maybe to old for all of this and should stay here and focus on a career in the states? I own rental property and am pretty secure with my life - is this risk of studying and hopefully working overseas worth the effort?

I thought about having a career in logsitics which has to do with international shipping - so I figure I could make some good contacts along the way

  1. your never too old to study people in their 50s are doing three year degrees in the uk. dont let your age stop you and your not even old. when l saw your age l thought is that it. go for it if you dont you may regret it later-do it whilst your young!!!

  2. Your not too old to study! Keep studying and take a risk! If nobody took risks we wouldn't even have electricity!

    ~Alejandrina~

  3. you are never too old to pursue your dreams

  4. The first thing u have 2 decide is whether u have the funds to support ur self and ur family during the period of ur studies  in the uk,if u enter Uk o a student visa then ur only allowed 2 work 20 hours a week and u will be paying the forigen student rate of fees. Other wise a person is never 2 old 2 learn but the earlier in life 1 completes there education and takes up a career is better .

  5. u can never be to old to study abroad it is good to share your feelings!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Are you kidding?  You sound like your 60 and even then Joe Namath went back to school.  Do It while you still have the chance!

  7. yes u r

  8. You're never too old to learn something new! Definitely take advantage of your secure income and persue your dream. If you think you're too old now, wait 30 years from now. Then you'll really regret not having tried it now.

  9. No you're not. My aunt's 40 and she's studying abroad.(:

  10. If you are from the U.S. you are not old at all, if you stay in the UK or go back to the US you'll be alright and will have great value

If you are from a 3rd world country, yes you are old, as it would be a much greater risk since if you don't stay in the UK after your studies you won't be able to get a job because of age in your home country and will be ruined
