Am I too short to play basketball?

Question

I'm 5'2", 15 years old, and a girllll.

I'm almost positive I'm done growing.

I played in 4th, 6th, & 7th grade. And some of 5th. I was around everyones height...

But that was a while ago, I'm going into 10th grade now...and well, people grew, I stayed the same. I'm the shortest girl in my class, well there's a girl who is my height and a girl who is 5'0", but they don't like any sport...

Oh and by the way, I'd rather be short than tall...but still =/ haha.

Absolutely not!  Muggsy Bogues was just 5'3", and he played in the NBA against 7-footers.  It's all about playing hard, and playing smart.  You probably won't be a great rebounder, but you can do a lot for your team: 3-pointers, assists, steals, etc.  Make sure you practice your free throws, because that's an easy way for short people to get some points.

i'm goning into 10th grade too. i'm 6'4 so i don't know what it feel of being short.but our point gard he is really good he is not taller than 5-4 cause he got really good handles short ppl is closer to the ground and quiker that means they are harder 2 gard

so for you pratice handles+good jumper=wnba

Hey, to me NO ONE is too short to play basketball!  I have played ever since I was five and I am short for my age too!  I'm 14 and about 5'1", but that doesn't stop me from playing!

Don't give up just because you think you're too short.

My advice is;

If you love it, live it!

basketball needs short people like your self.you would prolly make a great point guard if you tried.just work on ball handeling and passing and you wonnt need to be tall.just distribute
