I'm not too concerned about comfort because I won't be taking it for long rides, I just don't want to look ridiculous on an undersized bike.

  1. Ride a bike matched appropriately to your level of riding skill.  Aesthetics aren't important, and you'll get over your self consciousness once you're a better rider.

Starting with a bike in the 250-600 range will be a lot smarter than with a 1400.

  2. Bikes are made keeping in mind certain parameters like wheelbase, rake, trail, etc.  They do have a projected use and toward that end, they are optimised.  If you are fond of the Ninja, you will simply have to adapt.  If you are more conscious of your appearance then you simply have to tryout various models until you find one which feels like a tailor made fit.

  3. Go to a dealership and sit on one.

  4. No your not to tale the seat height on a Kawasaki is higher than the height on a bike like a Harley Davidson so longer leg while help in holding it up at a stop.

  5. that's a nice bike, yes it will fit you, you can adjust the handlebars and the foot pegs
