Am I too young to babysit?

Okay well i really want to babysit but i am 12 and a half. Im really mature for my age. Am i too young to babysit?

im also 12 and i babysit... but if you are questioning yourself try being a mothers helper first

i dont think so i babysit since i was 11. If you learn the basic things your parents taught you like look after them every second, dont open the door if the doorbell rang, dont let them get hurt, or do things that you wanted to do and didnt pay any attention to them. Things like that and if you pull this off then you can babysit even more

my daughter is 12, and she is just starting. it actually depends on your state law. our state law is based on many things: how many kids? what time of the day? weather conditions, maturity level of babysitter and any licensing the babysitter has.  i don't think you are too your personally, but that is up to your parents and the law. it might help a little if you call your local library, and see if their are any babysitting classes you can attend. around here, that is where we go to ours, and we live in a large city.
