I'm going into 6th grade and I'm 11. I'm in love with a guy. I'm going to ask him to the first school dance. I think he likes me.

I cant stop thinking about him.

Hes cute,smart,sweet,nice and EXTREMELY funny!

Love isn't a question about age but I do think you should think about your future so think and imagine life with him and THEN go out with him. It'll give you an insight on how he really is - for better or worse.

No one falls in love at 11 years old. I started going out when I was 12. I'm still going out with the same girl. I didn't realize that I loved her until I was almost 15. Your just experiencing a very very very strong crush....

Well it is a little too soon in live to start deciding you love some one so deeply in 6th grade. If I'm not mistaken, you just started school a while ago right? Not saying you don't totally like this guy and you aren't deeply infatuated with him. Because I wouldn't doubt this guy makes you feel awesome. But just be careful what you call it. Of course ask him to the dance.

yes, you're too young to even understand what love truely is. im sure you have heard this plenty but... you have highschool to worry about boys and being "in love." just do yourslef a favor and enjoy middle school and use that time to find your best friends. trust me, it REALLY pays off in highschool. you are going t want a best friend your first day of highschool.
