Hi Everyone!

I'm travelling to Cuba on the 23rd of July (for 2 weeks) It's all booked and paid for, but after checking the weather it seems that all it does is rain at this time of year! I'm so worried as I was after a perfect beach holiday! Am I going to be stuck in my hotel room for the whole trip?! Would really love to hear from anyone else who has travelled to Cuba at this time,

Thanks! x

  1. You will be fine in July. Even though it's considered the rainy season, you really won't encounter days of rain and it will not interfere with your daily activities. If it does rain, you may get it for a few minutes during the day and will nicely cool things off. And these are tropical showers as opposed to long rainfall. The average days of rain in July are 9 days...really nothing to worry about. Usually the rains will come in the evenings too, especially while you sleep. It can happen around dinner time as well....but not always...and again doesn't last long.

As well, July does not have the most average rainfall days either...I have gone to Cuba during the more rainy months (summer/fall time) and I have never had a problem with the rains.

It will still be a perfect beach holiday...believe me and don't worry. You will not have wasted your money and you will just love it. Even if there happens to be rain a few minutes here or there, it is still fun actually.

Have an amazing time in Cuba....2 weeks is perfect! You won't want to come home lol!

BTW, which area in Cuba will you be travelling to?

  2. Last year i went in the last week of april and on the last day it started raining and getting a lot of misquitos. And i asked the tour guide man and he said for the next two months it would rain and the weather wouldnt be good. so i think around the second week of ur trip it'll get nice. havea good timee =)

  3. You will be absolutely fine, the weather can be bad anywhere in the world at anytime, been to Cuba at the end of July myself and the weather was perfect, been at Easter and we had  days heavy rain, check AccuWeather.com out for a long term weather forecast before you go and you will be surprised how fantastic the weather is going to be, have a great time, Cuba is just fantastic.
