Question:

Am I underweight?? Help!?

I'm 110 lbs and about.. 5'7" and I want to put on more weight,about 10 more pounds. Am I underweight? If i eat about..2000-2500 calories per day, how long would it take for me to gain the weight? I work out everyday as well so hopefully muscle also helps me put on weight

  1. yea if you put on about 10-15 pounds you will be good. Make sure you eat healthy foods not just junk food.

  2. If you aren't comfortable with yourself then you should put on weight.

    Otherwise, don't worry about it.

    I am thirteen, 5'6", and only weigh 80 lbs., so I really don't think you should dwell on this.

    Also- you didn't mention your age, having your age would help us all determine weather you need to put weight on or not.

  3. When you eat that many calories make sure the things you eat are healthy and not just a bunch of ice cream and twinkies (ewie)

    Try like whole grain cereals, fruits, and this rice type stuff called couscous is kinda high calorie and has lots of vitamins and stuff. Its really healthy.

    And you are kinda underweight but best of luck

  6. Your ideal weight would be 135 lbs so below 115 lbs could be regarded as underweight.

    To gain weight a good supper every night would help as you burn up very few calories in your sleep.

    Plenty of fattening nuts would also help.
