The max pressure (cold) on my tires is 35. The manufacturer recommends 32 cold. I'm sure the manufacturer spent a lot of time and money determining this number to get the right balance between mileage and comfort. The tires on my car are at 32 cold. I could probably eeke out another quarter or half mile per gallon if I pump the tires to the max but I would sacrifice greatly on the ride. I can afford to give up the mileage and take the better ride.Am I a bad American? Would an Obama administration arrest someone like me?
