is this too much? I act like I have a psychological disorder when I see, smell or imagine cockroaches. Is it just me?

  1. You're not weird! It's normal to freak out at things that creep us out!

  2. I don't care for them either. I saw a TV ER show where a guy had to go to the hospital when he got one in his ear. They had to put Xylocaine liquid anesthetic in his ear to kill it so they could grab it with the tweezers.

  3. well i'm not exactly sure how you can smell cockroaches, but the fact that you can really says something. you just need to tone it down. there not going to hurt you. now seeing a cockroach many people get freak about them and other bugs.

you could just have a really bad phobia as well.

  4. I don't think so, though I would say it's more of a phobia.  Everybody gets freaked out every now and then.

I've been having the same feeling ever since -- only it's with lizards.  I got so terrified and embarrassed one time I was with a professional basketball team in a hotel.  I felt something fell on my neck I literally screamed and jumped on my husband's lap and everyone looked at me.  One of the players pointed upward and said it's a leaf -- whew, good grief.

    :D

  5. your like every other person in the world lol. i was too once. but i changed when i saw one with only one leg trying to feed its baby. so instead of freaking out, i gave it cat food, adn watched the roach grow up. lmao sounds stupid but i got over my fear. then my cat killed it.
