Am I weird for not having facebook....?

or any other social networking site? Anybody else in the same boat? I dont like any of them.

well i didnt have one for a LONGGGGGGG time and when i finally got it i thought it was stupid. just cuz other people have it doesnt mean its cool. wen i didnt hav one nobody made fun of me or anything so wen i got one it wasnt different.

you are most definetely NOT weird for not having a facebook account. I actually applaud you for that.

I use to have an account. But it made me more of a anti-social person. It really bothers me how you get to set up a profile for the whole world (well, at least your friends) to see and tell everyone what you like, what your interesting in. I mean don't they know that in real life? And people are always competing to see who has the most friends. Whoever has the most friends is more "popular". I deleted my account months ago and I have never looked back. I am so glad I did that.

Looking back, I have spent countless hours on that site.. time wasted. UGH!  And I read online about how Facebook will sometimes take pictures and information off facebook users. Yikes!!

I'm sure someday you'll join the crowd.  There's nothing wrong with not having one, but it's a great way to keep in touch with the people you meet throughout your life.  Some people would rather not have one and that is completely fine, but especially in high school, you can't be surprised if you miss out on something in your school.
