I'm 13 years old and:

I wear black skinny jeans

I love the Color black

I play in 2 bands

(one a punk/post-punk/emo the other is just a cover band)

Think all coperations are evil

I'm part Libertarian part communist

I look up to Johnny Cash as a role model

I think Joe Strummer is the coolest guy on earth

my favourite bands are: The Clash,The s*x Pistols,The Dead Kennedys,The Ramones,Sham 69,The 101ers,The White Stripes,Minor Threat,The Adolecents,Dance Gavin Dance,The Ramones, Iggy Pop,Nation of Ulysses,Nirvana,David Bowie, Mott the Hoople, Texas is the Reason,Panic at the Disco,Honeywell,Led Zeppelin,T.Rex,New York Dolls,Mayday Parade, Bob Marley & The Wailers, The Velvet Underground, The Misfits, Heroin, Swing Kids, Joy Division, and R.E.M.

You seem to care too much about what other peoples' perceptions of you are. Live your own life for you [living it for God who made you wouldn't be such a bad idea either], and enjoy what you truly enjoy; don't enjoy things for the sake of others. Also, putting labels on yourself can prove to be a harmful practice.

Riding in Mom's minivan,oozing teenage angst...trust me, in like 20 years or so, you will be intensely embarrassed to look at your "cool" myspace pictures.... Really, "emo/scene" is the new cheerleader. Any emo, is really just trying to fit in....They say they hate all corporations...but who does their Daddy work for? Unless you're doing all those things just to seem "cool" or something, then no, you're not a poser.

You're you and if you like who you are then there is no reason to change.

If anyone says you're a poser then they obviously don't understand what a poser is.

To be a poser there has to be a genuine thing to pose as.

The person who told you to grow should grow up herself.

Just because you like certain things it doesn't mean you're immature.

It's immature to have a certain expectation for people to not like certain things and like others.

I usually end up being friends with the "different" people. Actually, I always have.

None of my friends were posers, they were just very unique. Not afraid to be themselves, or willing to take c**p from others instead of hiding who they really were......

All of the friends I've ever had were/are really nice, thoughtful people.

I'm also a bit different than most people. I'm a fourteen-year-old girl and I'm not really interested in most of the things most girls my age are.

Instead of being interested in fashion and guys, I'm more interested in things like cultures, languages, nature, art, etc.

My taste in music is mostly punk and foreign.

I like being me, just as you should like being you.

You sound like an interesting person. Like the kind of person I could be friends with.

I don't think your weird or a poser, that is unless you like those movies, have those opinions, listen to that music, and/or dress that way because your friends do and your scared to be independent. That's a poser.

You're a poser if you believe you can really be part Libertarian and part Communist. Because you can't. If you knew more than the most superficial amount of information about either school of thought, you'd know that. So you're definitely a political poser. Hopefully you will correct that.

But everything else just sounds like a normal teenaged musician.

I met Johnny Cash a couple of times in New York, and he was the nicest man you'd ever want to meet. You could definitely pick worse as a role model.
