He's been playing games since 2, and has gotten better than most adults. He's been subjected to curse words all his life, and has seen gun fights on T.V. I feel he's mature enough to understand right from wrong. I can see how some kids shouldnt play it, including some teens. But I feel he's more mature. BTW, he's almost beat it! Without my help. The kids amazing.

  1. well seen as it says its for 18+ and near enough every kid who loves GTA under that age play it anyway so i wouldnt so its wrong with what uve said and explained about him.

  2. Sounds like you are so proud of your kid, and you should be. Do him a favour and get him some games he can have fun with, puzzle games that will challenge him mentally. Anyone can shoot the sh#t out of people in a game. You are teaching him that the world of GTA is ok and normal. It is not.  A five year old is not mature. Stop treating your child like a teenager and treat him like a child. Let him grow up and let him experience life as he encounters it, dint push it on him.

  3. It doesn't matter how good he is at the game, the game itself is rated M for mature, you may think a...5 year old is mature but in my eyes the game is for children 18 and older!  If your child begins to interact with gun fights, swears, and drugs that are going on in the game he will begin to think it's okay, and you would not want him to think that at all!  my brother is 13 and plays the game, I believe he is mature enough to understand that the conflicts going on will not affect him because he is mature.  But I sometimes am afraid that he will act different and...he did.  Sometimes he tells me things like: "I wish I could just cut you in half with a knife."  and "I wish you could just die!"  It's not that I get scared but the behavior is not suitable for a 13 year old.  18 is a much more reasonable age.  Oh, and definitely not 5!!!   Are you crazy!
