  1. Subject: Request for Regularisation of Special Leave Availed

    --------------------------------------...

Due to personal reasons, which I do not wish to disclose, I was constrained to avail leave of absence for one day. Due to reasons beyond my control, I was not able to return back to my home on the planned day. This, consequently, led to my being unavailable on the day of my scheduled duty as a result of which I missed my flight.

While sincerely regretting this situation, I would like to assure you that such lapses will not happen in future. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience my absence may have caused.

Keeping the foregoing in view, I would kindly request you to adjust my absence against provisions of special leave.

Reassuring you of my above commitment, and pledging my full loyalty to you and the airline.

    Kind regards/

  2. I don't think it makes any difference what you say, because you are going to be fired for two offenses:

    1. missing a day of duty.

    2. lying about a sick call-in.

You are toast. You made your choice when you shirked your duty. They are better off without you.

    Without regards,

    Dan

  3. Tell the truth and hope for the best..

  4. your best bet is the truth.  lying will just make it worse.

    most of all, be sincere.

  5. Das tut mier leit.

  6. Yes,

" To Whom it May Concern,

I was stupid and moronic not to adjust my personal plans to the schedule.  Because of my selfish and unprofessional behavior, someone else had to come out of crew rest early to cover me.  Since this type of behavior is unacceptable, I will resign effective immediately."

But of course, you're trying to cover your butt, not worry about the others on your crew you inconvenienced while you were out partying.  Regardless of airline, I'm sure they'll be better off without you.

  7. call your union representative, it's what they're there for.

  8. You are 'a cabin crew' of 'some' airlines?!

Well, for a start, you are a MEMBER of cabin crew.

And what do you mean when you say 'of some airlines'? - you can only work for one at a time.

There are thousands of people that desperately want YOUR job, so you should resign and let someone else make a better job of it than you did!

You were extremely fortunate to even make it on to the training course, so why did you blow it all away when you had the dream job?

I have NO sympathy what so ever.
