  3. there is no set number of times you should run. this is a question only you can answer b/c you are going to know your body better than anyone else. It is important to have at least one long run and sprints on different days of the week. some people will run every day. Personally I need a few days rest for my legs and would say its best for me to run 4 days a week. Maybe for you it is more and maybe it could be less. If you have difficulty running b/c of the stress it can put on your knees, shins, and ankles you can also supplement your running with swimming. No matter what you decide you must run at the very least twice a week. one for long distance and one for sprints. anything plus that can be good but it is you that will decide if you can do it.

  4. I am a boxer too. I run twice a day. One usauly longer then the other time. I add up too 6 miles a day. Then I go to my boxing gym in Rochester

    You should do easy distance 3 to 4 days each week, and do some intervals of running harder for 3 minutes with 1 minute rests 2 days each week. The intervals should be about twice the number of rounds you will fight.

    Warm up an easy mile before, and cool down an easy mile after.
