why not try out of  metro manila area?, beside metro manila area are too crowded and the traffic jam are every where.  try provinces like go in palawan, boracay, camiguin island I'll bet there's a nice and beautiful hotel probably a 5 star! and maybe ( I repeat MAYBE) you'll meet some real nice girl over there.

By the way you are asking that question, you seem like someone who would be an easy prey .  You didn't even say what your budget is, what location is your girlfriend, etc. ? Are you sure you know what you are doing?

manila peninsula would be nice. that's in makati city. discovery suites, that's in ortigas near edsa shrine.

Assuming you are staying in Metro Manila, your best bet would be to stay in Makati City because it is near the airport and has plenty of options for leisure, shopping and entertainment.  Prestigious five-star hotels would include:

- Makati Shangri-la Hotel

- Mandarin Oriental Hotel

- Manila Peninsula

- Hotel Inter-Continental Manila

If you prefer more affordable yet still elegant accommodations, consider some business hotels like:

- Dusit Hotel Nikko
