  1. are u on pay monthly? and u shud maybe get pay as u go

  2. Because mobile networks re-use old mobile numbers as there aren't enough to go around

    First step:

    register here:

If you get spam texts, your nobile network will have a number you can forward spam messages to for investigation.

TPS will eradicate I would say about 98% of unwanted calls but there are loop holes - not a perfect solution but better than nothing

  3. Is it from the same phone numbers?

Verizon Wireless released the Usage Controls which actually allows you to block certain numbers from calling you. It is a great feature only from Verizon Wireless. Check with your carrier to see if they have something similar coming out soon. Verizon is the only one to have it right now.

Also, I recommend going to http://mobileroar.com/forum and see what they say! It is the best place for mobile and gives people a large variety of things to discuss. It is more extensive than Yahoo! Answers. Become a member free. http://mobileroar.com/forum/register.php

  4. I registered ALL my phone numbers home, work, cell phone, after 30 days, should be NO MORE marketing calls.

Been doing it for years, so far it paid off.  I just got my new phone & new number 2 months ago.  I registered right away.  It will takes 30 days before it become active.

  5. Just dont answer any unknown numbers you should be fine. Thats what I do and the phone calls seem to stop. plus dont give out your cell phone number on the internet. As you know companies cell these numbers
