  1. You'll never completely eliminate lines but a good touring plan really is the best way to minimize your waits.  There are some psychological factors that increase lines - for example, Americans are conditioned to go to the right so lines/attractions to the right are often (but not always) longer than lines to the left.   Newer attractions draw crowds and must be experienced at optimal times.   A non-headliner can experience crowd overflow just because it is next to a very popular attraction.  Rides like "Star Tours" can experience big waves of riders when a high occupancy show like "Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular" lets out.

There are only stock "standardized" plans that I recommend - the ones in the "Unofficial Guide to WDW" (guide book) and "Tour Guide Mike" (an on line, subscription service).

My travel agency provides custom touring plans at no cost when you book your vacation through us.   We too can generally expect you to have waits of 15 minutes or less - even on the thrill rides and headliners.  There are a few exceptions - you need to be at "Finding Nemo, the Musical" (Animal Kingdom) and "Lights, Motors, Action!" (Disney's Hollywood Studios) about 30 minutes early.

  2. Going to Walt Disney World you should seriously go to a ride that is less populer but is still fun. My best bet is that you could either go to a ride that is just less crowded or you can buy a park hopper and go to a different park. Although if there is nothing and if it is truly crowded here are tips

    Magic Kingdom

-Pirates of the Caribbean (you can see if this is crowded and it goes fast)

-Tommorland Transit Authority (this is a nice ride and you can walk right onto it)

-Tom Sawyer's Island/ Liberty Bell(Fun and magical for the rustic in all of us)

    Epcot

-Canada Pavilion (Nice and funny for kids)

-Innovations (Technology and has a very fun computer section that is even fun for adults)

    Animal Kingdom

-Tree of Life (Center of kingdom and is very nice to look at)

-Safari (any of the animal carts, this may look long but there are plenty of fountains and its better then it looks)

    MGM Studios

-Hat statue (nice for relaxing on the step)

    Hope I help!

  3. don't go early. its your vacation, not camp.

going during a parade is about your best option.

but fast pass is really great, there was a 2 hour wait for rockin roller coaster, we watched a parade, ate lunch and was back just in time.

  4. I agree that having a good plan is the best way to go!  We used Custom Mouse Plans and had a wonderful experience.  We rode all the big rides (usually more than once), lots of the other rides, and we never waited more than 10 to 15 minutes for any of them.  Since you leave in 4 days, Custom Mouse Plans would make more sense than the travel agent.  I highly recommend their service to everyone!

On a side note, it is highly unethical to get a handicapped pass when you are not handicapped.  I really can't believe someone would recommend doing that!  If people start doing that, Disney may have to change their rules which would be a shame for the people who are really handicapped.  I consider myself lucky that I am healthy enough to wait in the line if I need to!

  6. Go to Touringplans.com - it's less than 10 dollars, but they will tell you which day of the week is least crowded at each park - what order to hit the rides in for the least amount of wait time, etc. - I think it is worth the little bit of money - I did it last time we went, but my husband didn't want to adhere to a schedule, so we really didn't get to use it.

  7. well when going to magic kingdom i always get there before the park opens and stand in line while they do the opening ceremony. then i'd head right for fantasyland cuz later on in the day the lines for peter pan's flight and winnie the pooh are soo rediculus. they are like 1 hour long when if you get there first thing you get on them in 5 minutes without a fast pass or anything.

then i'd go over to adventureland and go on pirates of the caribbean cuz the line there gets super long in the afternoon as well.

then go to spash mountain and thunder mountain. then after that most of the other rides don't take too long to get on.

and i would advise getting to space mountain and getting a fast passs then do a few things in tomorrow land that never have a long line like carousel of progress and tomorrow land transit authority.

then go and use your fast pass on space mountain.

but really besides getting there early, using fastpass, and the few little hints i gave you there isn't a heck of a lot you can do to get shorter lines

  8. We would love to help you plan a trip with no lines.  My clients rarely wait more than 15 minutes for any ride, get to ride all the best rides, and have a wonderful time.  On average, we save our clients 4-6 hours a day of waiting in line and deciding what to do.

If you are not interested in the service, try to make the most of your mornings.

  9. You should checkout RideMax http://www.ridemax.com

  10. well we got a handicap pass when we went. we had 7 people and got to cut through the exit or go through the fastpass line everytime. just go to the information center and request one. you dont have to have a handicap person with you. my dad is 75 though so that was ur reason. so if someone older is going with you say they cant walk long. have fun!

  11. Get there RIGHT when the park opens!

Some rides have a single rider line. You will be separated from your group but you wont have to wait in a long line!

Of course fastpass is another option

  12. Handicap pass... or you could try maiming yourself and ending up in a wheelchair...juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust kidding.

  13. 1.  Arrive when the park first opens and ride the most popular or your most favorite rides first.

    2.  Ride during the parades or nighttime fireworks.  Most people will be watching these events...snag that opportunity!

    3.  If you qualify for extended "magic hours" go for it!  "Magic Hours" are times that the park are opened either earlier or later than standard park hours for a select group of people (i.e., people who stay in park hotels or purchase promotional travel packages!)

  14. Go early.  And sometimes they open the park an hour early but they do not advertise that.  Hit the most popular rides first when you arrive.

  15. get there real early, worked for me :)

indiana jones was still pretty packed at like 9 in the morning.
