  1. Le sept is nice, it's in hunters square just off the mound. Try 5pm.co.uk you can select a day you want to eat and the city and it gives you loads of good deals. The Waterfront in Dock Place in Leith is really nice if you are looking for pub grub.

  2. Do you mean that you are going to give birth in the restaurant? (Have a baby there!!!) Seriously look on the Tourist board web site, there are hundreds of eating places in Edinburgh, you need to be more specific about which part,LOL

  3. Bella Italia at the crossroads of the Royal Mile and North Bridge is pretty nice. Prices are decent, service is good, rather family-friendly, I think. Location is definitely central... Royal Mile is where all the tourist places are, and North Bridge is the main road connecting the Royal Mile to Princes Street, where all the shops are located.

  4. I cant remember the name of the street but its pretty central. If you ask a cab driver they will tell you,its a street that has lots of italian restaurants. Most or them are in the basements of buidings, look out for one that has a newspaper review outside. We went there last year and it was one of the most welcoming, down to earth lovely restaurants ive ever been to.The food was exellent and we had a great nite. The atmosphere was as if we were actually in Italy! The menu had a great choice and i tried lobster for the first time.I think you would find that row of restaurants very welcoming to people with kids and i would definately go back again.Im sure you would be made to feel at home! Also hope you find it!sorry i cant remember the name, but cant imagine it being too hard to find.
