  1. yes!

    you are!

its just vegans that dont eat dairy products,

but i think animal torture is wrong too!

so i am making a petition about animal testingg!

    try to make a difference!

your doing a lot of difference just by not eating meat :D

  2. You are a vegetarian, but the production of milk and eggs does hurt animals.  By drinking milk you are contributing to the veal industry.  Chickens that are raised for eggs live terrible lives in tiny cages and they never get to see the light of day.

Chickens who are raised to lay eggs and cows that are raised to produce milk are killed anyways when their production slows.  We get most of our fast food beef in the US from spent milk cows.

Free range and organic animals are killed in the same way.  There are no animal nursing homes.  It's called the omnivore's plate.

  3. yes. You are not a vegan though. Unfortunatley your still apart of animal cruetlty. Cows are milk machines and chickens are kept in small cages stressing them out to the max. You can try soy milk and find cage free eggs just to try a few stuff.

  4. No. You are a filthy dirty chicken murderer and cow sucker. I hope you can cope with yourself.

  5. yes but i dont know the exact name of it

  6. Yes, the defining feature of vegetarianism is not eating dead animals. Vegetarians don't eat meat or slaughter byproducts, like gelatin or rennet.  But each vegetarian makes his or her own call on foods from living animals.

Here is some info on the definition of the word from the people who coined it to begin with: http://www.vegsoc.org/info/definitions.h...

  7. yes, vegetarian is not eating meat, but drinking dairy. h**l if i know why they make the difference between killing animals or just holding them up for life. I guess it is like life sentence vs death penalty, which is worse?

Anyway, you are, and yes eggs are dairy.

I personally am Vegan, for health reasons but at least i dont help the industry in anyway.

  8. Yes you're still considered vegetarian. You would be considered vegan if you don't consume dairy and eggs either.

  9. I'm 13 as well. I have been a vegetarian since birth.

I am a Lacto Ovo Vegetarian, which is what you are as well. Basically you do not eat meat, fish or poultry, but you do eat eggs and drink milk. You eat products with eggs and milk in them.

Eggs are not dairy. A dairy product is one that is produced from milk, and eggs are defiantly not.

So you are still a vegetarian so don't stress about it.

Good on you for being a vego!

  10. Yea. There are many types of vegetarian/vegan. You are a vegetarian.

    3. Vegetarian (Lacto-ovo- vegetarian)

When most people think of vegetarians, they think of lacto-ovo-vegetarians. People who do not eat beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish or animal flesh of any kind, but do eat eggs and dairy products are lacto-ovo vegetarians (“lacto” comes from the Latin for milk, and “ovo” for egg).

Lacto-vegetarian is used to describe a vegetarian who does not eat eggs, but does eat dairy products.

Ovo-vegetarian refers to people who do not eat meat or dairy products but do eat eggs.
