Am i allergic to chocolate???

Question

ok so the past week after i eat chocolate, i get a really bad stomachache!!!!!! and ive been eating chocolate all my life this just suddenly came on! what could it be??? im on no meds of any type

If it happens again then maybe yes.

If you really want to know for sure ask your doctor to  do a allergy test on you. I think its just a simple blood test.

hmm.. you might be. try eating either smaller amounts of it, or try different brands of chocolate. say youre eating all dove milk chocolate, try a hersheys bar. then try dark chocolate. maybe your body just cant break down a certian type. but if you try different variables and you still get sick then you could just be intolerant to it.

If you're worried about allergies, you should get yourself tested. As far as allergies go, a stomach ache is usually not a symptom. Things like rashes (bumps), swelling, congestion and even not breathing, those are more common symptoms. I strongly recommend that you test yourself for allergies, it saved my life that i know what i'm allergic to.
