Am i allowed to be close like this?

Question

Ok so i've got a 26 year old brother and a 23 year old brother and a 17 year old brother and I'm the only girl! anyways we are all really close to each other like when my brother's Tyler and Trevor come home from University in the summer or for march break or christmas or something its the best time ever!!!

I can tell either of them anything! (school,pms,guys anything!) I can call them and ask them for advice and they don't mind!

They live together in Toronto with their girlfriends and i've stayed there atleast 6times for weekends or weeks.

when they are home to visit it's the most fun ever!!

even though im 15 i still love to wrestle with them!, watch movies, hang out, go for walks, beach, MONOPOLY!

When their not home i call them like once a week and talk for like 1-2hours

But my friend says im to close to my brothers! And says i shouldn't be able to tell them stuff or i should stay at their house and all this stuff!

Well they would never do anything to hurt me or anything that would make me feel uncomfortable so am i to close to them??

I think it's awesome that you are so close to your brothers. Don't listen to your friend she/he might just be jealous that you have such a close relationship with them. Don't ruin you're relationship with them just because of your friend,your brothers will be there for you NO MATTER WHAT and your friend won't.

like u said ur the only girl, ur fine... they r ur brothers... ur friend is probably just jealous... don't worry about it... i'm really close to my siblings although i only have 1 bro and 2 sisters.. but i'm sure if i only had bros i'd be the same way...

most girls dont have that fortune.

i know how sucky it is to be very far away from family..

and for a while my brother and i werent close at all..

but now.. we tell eachother everything.

he works a lot though and is going to college now but when hes not busy he comes home and spends all his free time with me.

its great.. family you can tell anything to when you are close.. they have been there all your life.. and sometimes even if it is a guy.. its easier to talk to them than your best friend.

if she has brothers.. are they not close with her.. she just may not be used to a family being close like that.

If you have never felt uncomfortable talking to your brothers, than there is nothing wrong with being so close to them. It is a tad unusual to confide in your bros like that, but if that is the relationship you have with them, I really don't think there is anything wrong with it... Great for you, I wish I was as close to my brother as you are to yours. =)

That sounds fine! Great actually. Enjoy being that close not many get that. It's not weird or anything. Keep it up since when your parents are gone your siblings will be all you have and you need to stick with them. Make sure your relationship stays this close!

I think that is perfectly fine....I think your friend just might be a little jealous that your so close to your siblings.....I think if there family and you are comfortable about taking about anything that is awesome and you should be like that, that is what family is for! I hope you continue being close to them i think it is very important! Good luck and ignore the friend about the stuff
