  1. The best thing to do is ask for permission.

  2. JUST GO.  some places like the islands I would not even go

out like the pipe but there are some other place that are cool. wind n sea in san diego is locally crewed place and they can been seen in action in the five summer stories movie if you really want to know wat up. just go and have fun and be cool.

    beers and cheers!

  3. You could always check with the local authorities or better yet  a local surf shop but my guess is that if there are decent waves and  no one is surfing there there is probably a reason.  Could be hazardous water conditions or it could just be illegal.  Best bet though is to never surf alone, especially if you are somewhere that you are not completely familiar with.

  4. In Hawaii, you have the right to surf any wave you want.  Only the military bases have restricted access, but you can paddle to them.  No one owns the ocean that's how i feel. Now i don't know how it is in England but i would rush it.  You couldn't get worse than a warning eh?

  5. Yeah asking is good, and you could also try this http://www.devon-calling.com/surfing.htm

  6. s***w asking for permission!  If there aren't any signs at the beach telling you to stay way then just paddle out.

  7. LOL who surfs england?

and ye who also asks for permission
