It's only a 4 hour flight but we're bound to want something. There are no inflight meals on this flight. Can i take food on? And if so then what shall i put in my little picnic?

  1. Yes you can take food onto a plane but depending were your landing you might have to dump whats left as some countries don't allow some foods into their country, make yourself a nice sandwich or two, some crisps, a mars bar and a piece of fruit and remember to buy your drinks after passport control to take onto the plane with you, have a lovely holiday.

  2. Take a pork pie and some pickles, along with a jelly and peanut butter sandwich, washed down with a can of D-B.

  3. Depending on the airline but snacks are allowed on the plane.

  4. I was in 2 minds whether to reply to this question or not but after reading one source telling you you can't take food through security...........

no liquids above 100ml unless baby milk or prescribed medicine...

other than that your turkey sandwich will be ok.....

  5. sorry to say but on flights you cannot take your own food on, but you can buy it from the airport! you know, past security and everything : )

i would advice you buy some sandwiches (yum!) and some Coke or w/e you prefer, and definatly something sugary eg, choc or candy!

your family will probs be feeling a lil peckish on the flight and will not want to eat anything 'heavy' so go for light snacks.

they will certainly need a sugar kick if the flights a nighttime one or early morning. give em a bit of a treat!

    have a wonderful time
