Am i aloud to bring a guinea pig on a plane?...(flying AA)...?

okay, so i get really lonely alone on planes, so i wanna bring my guinea pig, Chewy along with me. Is this aloud, or what do i have to do to make it aloud...

  2. No he would have to go in the pet cargo area with the other pets down below the plane. You cant bring him on because some people might be allergic to him. They would have a big lawsuit if someone got sick or died and sued the airline.

  3. About the only thing you can do is to get a phychiatrist to write a notarized letter saying the guinea pig is needed by you as a companion pet in order to alleviate panic.  This is allowed (not aloud) by the American Disabilities Act.  Of course, it is not cheap to get a shrink to do this.

    Also, assuming you were allowed to bring the rodent on board, it would have to be in an airline approved crate and would have to remain under your seat at all times during the flight.  You could not play with the animal during the flight or even while waiting for the plane to take off.
