  1. no you cant uneless you buy it in the terminal but outside food isnt allowed

  2. You can take food that you will eat on the plane. Different countries have different laws for taking food into another country. Always declare any food you have with you otherwise you could get a rather large fine

  3. I took some Twizzlers, Whoppers and a Snickers in my carry-on when I flew to and from Mexico a couple weeks ago. I didn't have any trouble. I also brought on a Sprite, but I bought it in the airport, after I already went through screening. I would double check with Jet Blue's carry-on policies, just to be safe.

  4. I do it all the time.  Just no drinks, buy some inside the airport or get one from the flight attendant.

I also put food and drinks in my checked luggage and have never had any problems.

  5. You probably can. I've brought some cookies on board once. You probably cant bring outside drinks past security (unless you got little kids flying with you) and my guess is that they fear the liquids damaging the x-ray machine (when the bottle isnt tightly screwed and open cans might spill) You can bring any bottled thing that you buy after security on to the plane.

  6. Yes, you are allowed to bring food in your carry-on...like fruit or cookies or sandwiches.  The only restrictions concern liguids of greater than 3 oz.  brought in from the outside.  You may purchase larger containers of liquids AFTER you go through security and bring them on.  See TSA site below. Anything not specified as prohibited or regulated IS allowed. You can also call your airline and ask...to confirm this.

  7. I'm pretty sure foods fine, i've never had any problems (in europe). Just no liquid!
