  1. Everything is right except for the board.  I recommend Shaun White's board or the Burton Warhol Twin. They're both very nice boards and Burton is a very good company, reputable and they have very high product checks. Even if a little zipper tab is missing, they won't replace the zipper pull, they make a whole new jacket. Burton's stuff is the top of the line.

  2. the malolo is a pow board. not what you want when trying to get a park board.

    the P1s are fine.

    the boots are find.

    get a different board though.

the same site your on has a burton custom, jeremy jones, white and X8. - all great park boards

also, dont limit yourself to burton...the same site also offers capita, libtech, gnu, rome, forum, and ride boards. they all make excellent park boards. do some more research before you buy something. also, try not to buy online....you ALWAYS want to try boots on.

  3. I agree with Mel M. From what you described, a freestyle board is what you're looking for. Check out our website at http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/. The prices are better and we ship for free. I would consider an Option Mirror or a Gnu Riders Choice. Hopefully that points you in the right direction.

  4. Hey man, I've snowboarded for quite a few years, Burton to me has never been good, my board got double edges really fast, and the ratchets on the bindings freeze up in any sort of cold weather, and break easily. I wouldn't reccomend burton of any sort.

The boots are good, DC are nice, I had them 2 years go, they were good, then I got 32 boots, [the lashed] and i wouldnt trade them for anything, they are the lightest in the industry and not to mention you take them to any shop that sells them and you can heat mold them to your foot, its so amazing i'd say check those out for sure.

Back to the boards, If your really into park , which is awesome, i'd say go for a Rome, the artifact is an awesome park board, flexy and and perfect for riding park.

If you're not diggin' the rome, i'd go look at Capita's the stairmaster is another great board for park, and is cheaper than the romes.

I really say you should stay away from burton, plus to any good rider, kids with burtons are just your typical hillrat, get on a rome or capita and you wont look like such a typical snowboarder, and it's way better than a burton anyways.

    check out the rome artifact.

[this is last years,  not this next coming years so if you wait you'd get a newer model, but also will likely cost more]

hope this helped man, I've worked at a board shop for a year now, and the most boards we have coming back for warrenty for problems is burton, and bindings especially!

  5. yea.

  6. Dude, that Malolo is a Pow hungry animal, it has the tapered front so you definetly don't want that for the park I would suggest maybe the Burton Custom X, its more of an all-mountain board for the stuff your looking to do.

  7. bindings are great, boots are good but change the board. try a rome vinyl or agent. those are really good boards. also look at 32 boots

  8. DC make great quality boots but you need to try them before you buy as if they are a bad fit you will find riding in them a nightmare. The bindings are ok but as said by many people above the Malolo is a powder/freeride board and wont really suit your style of riding, Good luck.
