Well i'm 13 and underweight (not my fault so please don't judge) but today i got really tired all of a sudden and i felt like i'd been running a mile so i flipped out at my cousins which i was supposed to be watching (3 and 6). Then i got a HORRIBLE cramp.

BTW the underweight thing: the doctor said that i won't be starting until i'm 16... But all my friends said they said that to them too but they started at 12

  1. I need more info.  Do you have any signs of Puberty ea: discharge,Pubic hair, Hormones.  Plus you should try to put on weight.  I am underweight too and I am trying the same thing.  You have to at least be 45kg before you get your periods.

  2. Please don't listen to the doctor when he says your gonna hit puberty, because they can't predict it.

I was underweight when I was 12-13 too, and I didn't start my period until I was 14. Being underweight will not stop your puberty, but it may make your period come later. Puberty usually starts around 13-14.

I doubt the cramps are your period, if they don't stop, and you haven't gotten your period, please go see a doctor. :)

  3. i bet your flatter than a board

  4. the best answer i can give you is to enjoy your period-free life . don't worry about it . it has to come sooner or later . the day you sit on that toilet and see stained panties , you'll know . i got mine when i was nine ! now i'm eighteen . all i did was throw on a pad and wish for it to go away lol

  5. I started at 13 and I am now 17, 5'10" and only weigh 98Lbs. I am so underweight I'm not even on the weight vs. height chart but it isn't a bad thing. Sometimes being underweight is bad but sometimes not. I'm sure you will start puberty soon :) You will become a lady. If your doctor says you won't start until you are 16 then I'm sure he is right, this is just my personal experience. Don't worry too much, feel excited!
