  1. Nope! Your child is though. Thats why people get married. (Committment)

  2. NO

  3. No, unless you have a common law marriage that is recognized by his employer's group insurance.

  4. Your boyfriend would have to have added you to his policy as a domestic partner. Absent a life status change (marriage, birth, death) this usually can only be done during an open enrollment period.

Your child could have been added to the policy after his or her birth usually within 30-60 days. Otherwise the child would also have to wait for the open enrollment period as well.

  5. Neither of you are covered unless he put you both down as a dependent.  Unless you got a medical card, then I would assume you were not covered.

  6. When he fills out his insurance papers he can put you down as a dependent. That way your name will be on his inusrance card, as well as your child if you'd like. Though he would have to pay X amount of dollars for each dependent he adds.

*varies with each type of insurance

  7. it depends if the policy covers domestic partnership. but the child is covered because it is his dependent.

  8. I don't think you are.

    Your child might be though.

    ( I could be wrong...)

    Best of Luck.
