Am i crazy for wanting another kid?

Question

i'm 21. i have a 1 yr old daughter. i had her via c section and vowed never to have kids again. i don't have alot of patience for my little girl and swore she would be my only child.

but i started to get that wierd feeling of wanting another kid. is it just a phase or what? i've even been looking up baby names and alll and i'm not even pregnant!

i don't know wat to do.

you're not crazy, you just have maternal instincts.  i would probably wait a few years so you're older and have a little more money and your daughter will be a little older and she'll have mom to herself for a while, and it'll be easier to raise another kid when you kid is 4 or 5 versus her being 2 or 3

I would say it's not crazy. I don't have any but I know a gal that had 1 that was hers, and then a step daughter. She could not have a child but she really wanted another child, and she did. A lot of gals do have those feelings.

If you dont have patience for your one year old you definitely wont have patience for a toddler and a newborn.

Your not crazy!!! I went through the same thing I'm 22 with a 21month old. Its called BABY FEVER and it will pass....really wait until it feels right and if it lasts for months than I would say go for it!!!

nope -use birth control, get an education & counseling, and focus on the positive things in your life at the moment.

Wait. Are you married and settled? If so wait a few years. Give your daughter a chance to have her Mama all to herself for a bit. After a little while that urge to have another might just go away and you will have prevented having a baby you don't really want. I have 2 kids. I DO NOT want any more. I am way overwhelmed since our 3 year old son is very high energy and our one year old daughter has Cystic Fibrosis. I still feel that urge to have another little one sometimes though. Especially when I see a little baby all snuggly and soft....then I rethink and say NO WAY! But who knows in 5 years I might really want another. Life is an ever changing thing. Ya never know what each day will bring. Just don't bring a child into the world who isn't REALLY REALLY wanted. Good luck and have fun with your 1 year old....they are so amazing at that age! Mandy

I think you should get another kid. I don't think your crazy at all. They are tought at first when they are abaies but once they get older they are so interesting. So the final decison is up to you.

no its the circle of life
