Am i doing my bench presses right

i want to get into power lifting. i dont know if im doing enough or to many reps. i bench 140 for 5 reps first set 4 reps second set and 3 the third set. is that good or am i going to heavy. by the way im 16. another thing my goal is to someday bench 500 do you think thats possible.

  1. it depends on if 140 pounds is heavy for you. like how many reps can you do with 140 pounds. and i dont think you could ever bench press 500 but its not impossible.


  2. you should be able to do at least eight reps
