Am i done growing? I am 16 6 feet 4 really skinny

i am 16 years old 6 feet 4 very skinny 140 lbs i eat 6 meals a day take weight gainer and lift every other day with a personal trainer i play basketball and am looking to play in college but i need to fill out do u think i will be any taller my mom is 5 7 and my dad is 6 1 i have no facial hair,deep voice, pubes, no chest or thigh hair. how can i gain weight and am i done growing yet i am very good at basketball even being so skinny i cant imagine 40 lbs heavier

  1. You will fill out.  You may grow a couple of more inches as well (most guys stop growing between 17-20 or so).

    Unless you are losing weight or are sluggish, don't worry.  Just keep eating right (lots of protein and carbs), and working out some.  Many 16 year olds are beanpoles with really fast metabolisms.

    You will be glad you are skinny now when you are still in good shape at 30  and your buddies who filled out more in high school all have big guts and you are trim!


  2. My older brother grew twelve inches in six weeks when he was sixteen years old. The growth spurt, along with his very skinny frame, caused low blood pressure. He would often pass out cold. We had to watch out for him. Your growth will taper off, and you wll gain some weight.

    But if there is something else going on healthwise and you do not have any immediate family members including cousins who are over six feet tall, check your chest wall. If it appears unusual (ie sunken) you need to see a doctor to double check for acromegaly. If left unchecked, you'll continue to grow and this can shorten your life.

  3. I'm almost 6'4", like a few CM's away, you should e like 180lbs to be average weight, thats what I am.

    My friend is 5'8 and 150

    They say 10lbs for every inch so you should be around 230 for your height..

    Maybe it is in your genes.

  5. Don't worry I was  scrawny growing up  you'll fill  out   when you get older. You   might even wish  yow  were almost that size again, when you   get older. Because your   y oung   and active,  at that age,you have a high metaolism, hen you  get older your metabolism will slow  down and you'll increase your weight.
